The solar resource of the United States is enormous. In fact, just one hour of noontime summer sun is equal to the annual U.S. electricity demand. Most states in the United States have good-to-excellent solar resource.
Recently installed new windows and Califorinia solar panels for sale I can say with certainty: permanently installed solar panel capacity of 320 watts does not mean that it will be able to produce maximum power during the day. It will be achieved only when the sun's rays will fall at right angles in bright, sunny, but not hot weather, i.e. the conditions will be close to the laboratory. In cool, sunny weather at the optimum angle, you can achieve the rated power specified in the certificate, and in winter, at subzero temperatures in sunny weather, you can even squeeze the power more than the rated.
